New Ford Rebates & Incentives Announced

FAIRVIEWFORD-9-1

Starting tomorrow, (November 3rd) Ford is launching its “Friends & Neighbors Pricing Event,” discounting their entire product line, minus some of their high performance and commercial products. Many discounts will be up to ten percent off MSRP, with no haggle prices of about $200 under invoice.

Friends & Neighbors Pricing can be combined with other incentives and offers. Ford’s currently published incentive programs expire at the end of today (November 2nd). However, consumers can count on the availability of industry-competitive special finance rates and various other long-standing incentives such as the Military Appreciation and Recent College Grad rebates.

These will be some of the best Ford rebates since the Great Recession.

Ford is also including a dealer component in the program to help ensure their sales staff are not bitter about reducing their earning potential. Dealers will earn more than they otherwise would on transactions with such thin margins. For example, a dealer will earn $471 more on a 2015 F-150 under this program than they would if they sold the same unit at the same price before the program begins. Satisfied dealers and sales people should help reduce the likelihood of negative buying experiences, particularly if the program drives the kind of additional traffic to dealers that Ford is hoping it will.

Every 2015 and 2016 Ford eligible under this program that has been tested by the NHTSB has earned a four or five star overall safety rating. And every product in the Ford range is a top five seller in its class – Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Taurus, Mustang, C-Max, Escape, Edge, Explorer, Expedition, F-Series, and Transit Connect. In fact, Americans will purchase more Fords than any other brand this year.

This offer is set apart from other current incentive programs by the depth of the price reduction, elimination of negotiation, and continued presence of additional industry-competitive incentives. Although not confirmed, it is possible other manufactures could follow suit with similar programs before the end of the year.
