It’s time to step out your front door and meet your neighbors. Becoming friendly with your neighbors is one of the most important things you can do to protect your home and keep your community safe.
Do you know your neighbors? Do you recognize them on the street, or know their names? Do you know when they’re going on a trip, or what’s going on with their families? Sadly, today, less than a third of people know their neighbors. This number is down from a 2010 study, which indicated that 43% of Americans knew their neighbors, though only a third of those people knew their names.
