New Video Highlights Nissan’s Safety Tech

Future of Transportation

These days, automobiles are becoming increasingly more aware and technologically advanced. Many active and passive safety technologies can prevent deadly collisions. Things like accident avoidance, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and collision mitigation braking are just some of the more common safety features added to today’s vehicles.

Even though there are limitations to these technologies, there is no denying they have the ability to save your life.

Take Nissan’s Predictive Forward Collision Warning. The technology uses radar to constantly monitor not just one vehicle ahead, but two. When sudden deceleration from a vehicle ahead is detected, an audible alert sounds and visual warning on the instrument panel is displayed. This gives a driver better reaction time and greater awareness, especially on congested roads.

What’s next? Cars that drive themselves?

In the meantime, enjoy the video below.
