A new Range Rover will not only turn heads when it debuts next month but mess up hair in the process. The British manufacturer, known for off-road prowess, mixes that with an element of freedom and fun.

The Evoque Convertible promises a unique combination of traversing trails and catching wind.

The first of its kind, the Evoque Convertible is running the final stage of testing at Eastnor Castle, a location significant to Land Rover for the last 45 years.   All Range Rovers are subjected to the castle’s proving track and Evoque Convertible has sustained.

A final “sign-off” at the famous estate is expected soon.

Land Rover upholds their existing legacy with the Evoque Convertible by requiring such extreme tests.  The drop top doesn’t mean it’s just a casual cruiser.

“Land Rover prides itself on being a class leader when it comes to all-terrain capability and the Evoque Convertible is no different.  Thanks to a combination of innovative engineering and the application of advanced technologies, Evoque Convertible will deliver a dynamic and assured SUV experience that has been tested around the world.  We call it ‘The Convertible for all Seasons’.” ~ Mike Cross, Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integrity – Land Rover

The public reveal comes at the Los Angeles International Auto Show next month.
